Born in Fresno, California in 1938, Walter Karabian rose to the heights of California politics in the 1970s before embarking on a successful career as an attorney and highly respected philanthropist.  This website chronicles his life and times through his own words and recollections, captured through video interviews conducted by Los Angeles-based filmmakers Hrag Yedalian and Garen Mirzaian.  Each video segment presented on this website provides a glimpse into key events in California political history, and offers insight into the development of the Armenian-American communities of Fresno, Los Angeles and beyond.
